Are there any downsides to having a dash cam in your car?

I don’t know. I kind of want to do a YouTube channel where I chase down bad drivers and confront them when they get wherever they’re going in a sarcastic interview style, like “Sir! Sir! Excuse me! What’s going on inside here?” “Huh?” “I was just wondering where you must be headed that was so important that you cut off that school bus full of kids back by Exit 10B…. there must be something AWESOME happening! Can I come?”

Thats probably the part where I end up in a fight or worse, and I end up in jail or dead by the hands of some redneck in an F-150 who “feared for his life” and opened fire, lmfao

But that would definitely require a dash cam. I don’t know though. I mean…if YOU fucked up, can the authorities come for your dash cam? One of my top rules in life is “don’t make things any easier for law enforcement to snatch me up”😂

Having your mom catch you jerking off watching the dash cam footage of that hot girl in the Corvette next to you. Wow, mom, it turns out your basement's not so bad after all! Seriously though, if you're so worried about your privacy, maybe you should just become a professional lolicon cosplayer, because at least that way you won't have to see your own cringe ass in public. If you drive drunk a lot and get into an accident maybe the cops get a warrant to get the dash cam ant it shows you weaving all over the road before you hit the tree

These days you could get prosecuted for defending yourself from a criminal or even worse sued by the criminal. I see no downsides
