How and why do YouTubers make it look so easy?

I’m so jealous of YouTubers and streamers, especially walkthrough YouTubers, they can buy whatever tf they want and not care about money! I want that kind of life! They make it look so easy, all they have to do is play video games for a specific amount of day, some narrative maybe and that’s it. I’m really jealous cuz I want a easy life like that!

The amount of people quitting youtube or needing to take breaks these days, indicates that it's not easy. In order to stay relevant, if you are a new youtuber, you have to post new fresh content all the time, fake like your life is great and not hard (because no one likes a depressed youtuber or to have to see how hard it is, people have their own lives for that), you have to work work work until you're tired out of your mind just to be profitable. If...a huge IF, you make it to the top where you actually have plenty of sponsors and revenue, you're totally burned out.

It is only the few that make it and make enough money that finally are able to hire a staff to do their editing, camera work, and all the grunt work so they can "make it look easy," but most don't have the money or the luxury and eventually put out one of those, "this is why I'm quitting: it's not clickbait" videos. Don't be fooled. The internet is the land of illusion and if you don't believe that, try it and see how easy it is to do what they do.

Don't be so delusional. The number of people making serious money from YouTube is 1% or less. There are millions of YouTube channels, very few are successful. You need about 600,000 views a month just to make around $10,000 a year.

start small, watch the "how to" videos, and in a year it will be easy for you also. the ones you're watching didn't start out successful
