What exactly makes Japanese cars more reliable mechanically as many say?

Are Japanese cars really much more reliable/advanced mechanically than other car brands? Many seem to say this supposedly..

So what exactly makes them better etc?

Teslas we’re getting slated over in the UK over their quality, the reply was along the lines of its the same quality as the US, the result Tesla have had to improve on quality and now people are happy with their Shanghai built models.

on the Tesla forums for the UK and Europe, owners will come one with ‘Im pleased I have a Shanghai built one and not a US built one’

Actually South Koreans cars have taken over Japanese and German cars in the reliability sector.

Mainly as the South Koreans keep most of their production in South Korea. Whereas Japan and Germany have moved their production to cheaper labour markets.

they are junk. I am suspicious that most of thr vehicles that all or sudden crash into a building are Toyotas.

I don't know but I've only owned Toyotas and I'm entering my fifth decade only owning 3 cars - all Toyotas.

I think because most of their cars are not as luxurious as german cars it doesn't have too much wires.
