Why do computer cases only *hav fan not air conditioner type coolers?

Any cooling system beyond convective cooling would result in condensation. Condensation on computer components is a recipe for disaster. Of course there are ways to mitigate that condensation, but they're overly complex, and since room temperature convective cooling works, why overcomplicate things?

An air conditioner is a pretty big device that draws a lot of power. It would also be overkill. As long as cables or other devices getting in the way of the airflow a fan does a good job keeping everything cool there are some computers that are liquid cooled similar to a car radiator.

Desktops can come with liquid coolers, but they add to the cost and though they rarely leak (which can spell disaster for the computer components) the liquid pump is often the first part to fail.

Different cooling systems exist other than fans. Putting a server room in a ac room is normal. You need dehumidifiers built into the ac.
