How do I choose a capacitor for this industrial fan?

I've never on my life seen the capacitance rating and it just says infinity 😂

The only logical conclusion is that it must be a portal to another universe between the positive and negative leads.

You need to match the microfarad (µF) rating exactly to the old one, and ensure the voltage rating is equal to or higher than the original. Using the wrong µF can burn out the fan motor.

All you really can do is take your best guess and hope you don't break it.

I mean, you can get a special meter and try to measure it yourself but... The old one was broken so I figured it wasn't worth possibly shocking myself 😂
