Why my screen graphics becomes shoppy or laggy when I play Valorant?

I'm using a laptop model Acer Nitro 5 an515-42 (AMD Radeon RX 560 and AMD Radeon Vega 8)

Here are my specs:

Processor : AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.00 GHz

Installed RAM : 8.00 GB (6.90 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

When I play Valorant, I play it under AMD Software : Adrenaline Edition and set under AMD Radeon RX 560 graphic series.

However, for some reason, the screen becomes laggy and choppy. It hinders my gaming performance as I can't shoot properly, not to mention the loading screen is also quite long. I'm not sure why.

I've tried to lower the video setting and choose the lowest graphic performance.

I also have done every possible AMD software updates and remove other unnecessary running background apps but the problem still occurred.

I'm using Internet with 300mbps so my ping was okay (maintaining 30 pings and below).

Is there anything that can be done?

What's your power settings set too? Best power efficiency, balanced or best performance? Have you checked temps to make sure the CPU or GPU isn't overheating? If the power option is set to best performance and the system isn't over heating, then the problem is the RX 560 not being powerful enough run the game decently. If the RX 560 is the problem, your only solution is to deal with the game being laggy or buy a laptop with a more powerful GPU? Forgot to ask, how is the ram configured? is it 1 8gb stick or 2 4gig sticks? With Ryzen, it's important to have 2 ram sticks installed for dual channel memory as single channel (1 stick) can affect performance in certain task such a gaming.

Dude your GPU isn't powerful enough to handle that, well that combined with your cpu being a U variant, which means it's an ultra low voltage variant, it's not going to handle gaming well at all, at least not high end gaming. For example it runs alright on my laptop, with a ryzen 7 7850hs 32 gb of ram, and my rtx 4050 with 6 gb of ram on its own. But it runs even better on my ryzen desktop machine running a Radeon rx6800xt with 16gb of ram, a ryzen x3d 16 core 32 thread processor, and 64gb of ram..

Also with your laptop being a 2500 series, meaning it's about 5 years old, your GPU being almost 10 years old, it just can't keep up. I'm betting your laptop can't even handle cyber punk 2077 or fallout 4, or if it can, not well.

For laptops with both iGPU and dGPU, some games don't recognize the dGPU and instead default to the iGPU. Make sure that's not the case and if it is, go to Radeon Settings (or Windows' own display settings), and force Valorant to run off your dGPU. If that still doesn't help, you can try connecting an external monitor that forces the dGPU to be used and the iGPU is disabled entirely.
