More problems with YouTube shorts?

I know Google doesn't like me watching YouTube on Firefox and wants me to use Chrome, but I'm not going to change. Yes, I use Chrome for some things but I like Firefox for almost all my Internet access, been using it for years. The only site I have problems with Firefox is YouTube.

A while back, I posted a question about slow response to YouTube shorts, and got some interesting comments, thank you to everyone who replied to that question.

More recently, a new problem has surfaced.

When I open a YouTube short in a new tab, it still takes a while to appear, and then it sometimes changes to a completely different short video. If I close it, and select it again, it usually works the second time, sometimes slow to appear, sometimes not.

Is anyone else experiencing this with YouTube shorts?

No nut I am using Chrome. It is an odd problem. The only similar I have had s clicking on something as the screen is changing. Could possibly related to slow response i. e you have clicked on something other than you intended due to slow response.

I hate shorts. Who wants to watch a 12 second video set to loop forever? I wish there was a setting in my account that permanently hides all shorts.

I started having problems with Firefox, so I switched to Brave. It has been smooth-sailing ever since.

Tons of problems - weird glitchy problems, especially when you want to click out of Shorts, & head back to regular videos. That plus loading issues, or playing issues, & now that you mention it, it’s kinda a shitshow.

my main issue is the out of control censorship... which is becoming a much wider issue.

I like Firefox, but I hate shorts. I think shorts are Google's answer to TikTok.
