I need a good Recording System, to record at any time.. anywhere I am... , also a good Ham Radio... for home use and possibly be able to take with me.

Using some add ons to a Windows PC would be the most economical and versatile way to go. You can use various microphones and use software to edit what you have recorded. There are many different effects you can apply to it.

I guess Sony would suffice for the recording. I always go with Teac or Tascam but, I don't know if they make portable stuff, they're a bit more high end.
I have two hams in the fridge! You can one of those to make a radio out of.

Look into local clubs. People often have used equipment they want to sell and will even show you how to install/use it.

You can save them as favorites.

Just be patient there are a lot of channels. Some are more active at certain parts of the day and appear abandoned at others. Remember time differences for countries.
