Turkish Authorities keep instagram closed for days. What do you think? Is not it abnormal not to have acces to instagram in August 2024?

We have to use vpn to access instagram which i dont find secure. Nearly 60 millions of people use instagram in Turkiye but it's down for days now. I find this ridiculous! Not to be able to access instagram because of the authorities. doesn't Turkiye resemble other underdeveloped countries with such stupid decisions? I am ashamed of my lovely country because of the dictators ruling it. What do you think?

What do I think? I think it matters what VPN you are using. If you're going with something like Nord you'll be fine.. The standard one from Opera Web Browser however is not a true VPN, it masks only the address, not the information being passed!

Opera is purely a masking tool. BUT, it only masks the website you are browsing from knowing where you are. The content travelling between that site and your IP address is completely unmasked from government sources!
I can't say what your government's view on porn is, but I can just tell you how Opera VPN works!

NordVPN IS available in Turkey, I just checked for you!
