Does anyone remember Protonic. com?

Protonic ws a free technical support site that for a couple of years was very busy helping users with computer problems - for free. We never charged anyone a dime. Of course, this was in the days when people valued alturism and kindness - unlike today, when meaness is the point.

I don't remember that one. I'm familiar with bleepingcomputer that does the same thing. Also there were (and still are) plenty of forum boards to help users with problems.

I never heard of that site, so I don't remember it. I always trouble shoot and fix my own computers, so that's probably why I've never used it.

I do too, which is sort of how I got into working on that site and really enjoying it.

I use to frequent Tom's Hardware forums back in the day helping people, I enjoyed it.

I like tom's hardware a lot, except I keep subscribing and yet never receive the newsletter...

I never subscribed to their news letter, but use to visit their site frequently for hardware news and reviews, but haven't visited in quite a few years as I've been getting my hardware news and reviews from tech YouTubers like Gamers Nexus.

Yes, Gamer's Nexus has both a website and a YouTube channel. Gamers Nexus has a lot of intergraty and they aren't afraid to call others out including Tom's Hardware.
