How come my phone has both google search and internet explorer?

I have an android, but never really understood why I have both of these. Can you delete one? It causes problems logging into some things. It remembers my login on one, but not the other

This is good because provided BOTH options. Can't delete. Still...

Just be consistent if you use email in samsung, or used explorer by Microsoft then that is where the cookie will be for fast login. Each time, same not the other.

Use google for other stuff for example instagram n facebook sign in with google.

You can... but shouldn't... disable google by opening settings > apps > google

Another google app, I recomend disabling play store n play services , except when getting a new app, switch on until after install, disable, same screen for those apps.

That are two different things.

Internet explorer is the browser while google search is just the search engine (which usually opens the browser when you type in something)

You can definetely disable the google search widget.

But uninstalling many of the preinstalled apps is rather difficult and impossible on most phones, unless you are really in IT stuff and can exploit some hidden backdoors.

No idea, mine is default chrome, I think, dont quote me, I think I downloaded Edge by choice. Default still chrome, I use edge now and again.
Uhh why not just delete by holding the app lol icon. Anyways.

I for one find android a lot cheaper and easier than apple - never had an iPhone yet I've had other apple devices - and so on.

Anyways no advice and each to their own brands. Lol bro why not support both brands or chrome and edge lol 😆

internet explorer? i highly doubt that. probably edge browser. you just need one of both. so can usually delete the one you don't prefer.
