It fucks with your brain that you always expect stimulation and stuff. I mean like instagram reels and tik toks etc. It also makes you compare yourself to the most good looking popular and successful people in the world. In the past I didn't notice the negative effects much I wasn't using social media that much and when I did I just posted some pictures on instagram and then left the app again or I looked at other peoples posts that I followed I didn't watch or send reels. But lately I've noticed more negative effects on me so I've blocked instagram on my computer and have it on a different screen than my home screen I still have some people that I can only contact on instagram but I want to use it as little as possible and I'm also gonna try and watch short form content as little as possible like on facebook or youtube.

There are way more downsides to social media than there will ever be positive ones.

That is where you find trolls and spammers, just like here on GaG where you find a massive number of them.

Social media is the gangrene of modern society. It makes people obese, superficial, addicted, anxious, suicidal, paranoid, obsessed. Those that are on social media lack social life as strange as it seems because those obsessed with social media don't socialize in real life with real people.

Social media voids people's intelligence because they spend their lives on those media that makes them become zombies that are solely looking for a life on the internet.

Besides, social media is also known to cause psychosis and other mental instabilities.

Keep your fingers off social media and above all, beware of GaG.

I love social media. I get tons of tweets per day. I learned this morning that Kamala promised that Beyonce would perform at her rally. Oops, I think she farted again.
