It’s nice because I put my iPhone next to a new one and just say “transfer” and the number gets transferred to the new one. Like 30 seconds and done.

You have to use eSim now, that's all there is. I think the lower end phones might still use sim cards but that won't be for long.

I use physical SIM card but I found out that my iphone12 has esim too. So I am planning to use it when I go abroad.
