AI pictures always seem to have a certain look to them that notifies you they're fake. I think most people can spot that not quite right essence they have.

But sometimes you're tired, or just whizzing through a Google search not paying attention, even our biases can blind us. So have you ever been fooled by an AI image?

Wow ! Funny picture. I did not notice immediately the foothands... More seriously, I did notice that more and more pictures of people, mostly girls by the way, become far too clean, a clear hint of them pictures being artificial. The girl's face in your picture for instance also seems far too clean.

No doubt nevertheless that I can have been fooled by A. I. pictures, depending on the context.

If you were fooled by it, you would not be aware it was AI so wouldn’t know it tricked you….

So I suppose it’s most likely we all have been fooled by them, repeatedly. Those errors aren’t in every image and are more a biproduct of subpar editing/rushing than the AI itself.

I recently learned about deepfakes as they’ve become a major concern in sk. It’s hard to not look at certain photos a million times over.

I have not. I'm very good at telling, and I'm skeptical of most pictures online anyway. There is usually a "finished" gloss to them, and the faces are too symmetrical.

Forget the circles in the picture, look at her hands, er ah feet. Have I been fooled? Probably, but unless someone tells me the picture is AI, how am I to know?

I'm  always  fooled by them, because I can't tell the difference between AI images and real ones. I really do not know how people do that.
