I don’t really see the point anymore at this point if you want all your favorite classics you used to watch on tv you need multiple streaming apps.
And and even more if you want live tv functions for certain apps you’d might as well just get cable at that point.
What’s worse is the biggest selling point to streaming apps isn’t even a thing anymore they all have ads now and if you don’t want ads you have to pay even more and that’s if there app offers that options some you just have to stick with the ads.
I think the only thing now that is keeping people from Turing back to tv is the catalog these streaming apps have, since the industry has turned to streaming these big companies pour all there time and money into new shows for there apps as well as licensing for there old shows to stay on these apps.
Tv has nothing for people to tune into anymore with exceptions I’m sure. its truthfully sad to see we’ve been swindle right back to where we were like two decades ago. Wow two decades that’s scary to think about we are getting old.

Just go read books instead, gramps.
Seriously, get yourself together and quit your bitching. If you want "less ads" then pay the price. If you goto cable, then you'll get as many ads too.
Hence your argument is laughable.
That's the business model they've chosen to use, and people are dropping off of streaming like flies. When it catches up to them, they will change again and offer people what they want. But no matter what, it's going to cost $200 to $300/mo. to watch what you want, whether that's cable or streaming they're going to find a way to get that level of monthly payment from you.
