Saw his interview on Flagrant. He claims he left/pushed out because of DOGE's plan to use "technology based" means of efficiency rather than constitutional means. He was vague at best. Speculation?

He may have multiple reasons for leaving, but the main one is because he's going to run for, and prioritize becoming the Ohio governor. Period. If he had a serious beef with Elon or the administration, he'd say so pretty directly, as history has shown.

Vivek is a pretty hardcore constitutional conservative, and while he and Elon may agree on certain things like free speech absolutism and cutting costs, they're not exactly on the same team in most other respects. Vivek's/conservative position tends to be "the constitution doesn't demand that ____ agency or program exists, therefore it shouldn't exist," while Elon takes a more evolving/in the moment approach more typical of liberals and technocrats. As such, there's probably irreconcilable differences regarding what sorts of things should be funded in the immediate future, especially in regards to AI, quantum computing, space exploration, and energy.

Yes. There's no stopping the AI train at this point, because developing AI as well as quantum computing is the modern equivalent to the Manhattan project, for which there is no silver medal. Trump very prominently had a lot of the executives behind the biggest AI development companies present for his inauguration and participants in Stargate, with the noteworthy exception of Elon Musk and X-AI.

As for Vivek, he's not going to burn bridges when he doesn't need to.
