I didn't watch. I couldn't car less about politicians saying what they think idiot viewers want to hear.

If Trump is still in the lead come the primary, I'll vote for him if he has the best chance of keeping a Democrat out of the White House. In the meantime, I'll follow the candidates closely to glean their true actions, policies and loyalties. I am interested in what they do, not what they say.

Vivek Ramaswamy has no chance of winning the primary and even less of a chance in the general.

He is instead running like most such candidates to put issues on the table. If he does really well Trump might offer him the vice Presidential slot. But i think even that is unlikely his goal. This election Vivek Ramaswamy puts issues on the table and makes his name, if he does well he will be front runner in 2028.

Because he didn't want to lie. And anyone who knows politics knows that debate was for the vice presidency, not the presidency. The only one who stands a snowball's chance at the presidency is DeSantis. Vivek is smart, and he's playing the game well.

Because they know they can't win. Vivek has zero political experience, but after being the veep for four years, he will have a better shot at the presidency. I you watched the debate, you will know that the guy who got booed the most, was the one trash talking about Trump. He just fucked up hiss chance at winning either spot.

You really think he hates trump as much as you? His supporters don't and certantly not Trump's supporters. Vivek is a very smart man and if he is as smart as we think he is, he knows he is running to achieve 3 goals:
1: Put issues on the table.
2: Secure a Vice presidential nomination.
3: Secure a 2028 presidential nomination.

If Vivek continues to do well he will achieve all 3 goals.

Criticizing Trump only inhibits him from achieving any of them. You know a candidate is dumb when they do that at this point, because they all need Trump's base.

In this election its even more different because no matter what 2028 nomination is on the table for the best of all of them, which means it makes even less sense to risk alienating Trump's base.

As you risk losing both the VP nomination and the presidential nomination.
