Notifications silenced?

If you're not speaking to someone on text, but you silenced their notifications. what is the reason for that? like absolutely not messaging one another.

pls dont respond just to receive xper points. we decided to go separate ways. why not just delete the messages? instead they silenced...

1. You're TOO MUCH with the number of text you send and they just need to silence notifications bc it's annoying and distracting.

2. They don't want to hear from you so they block/silence you.
