Is there a way to stop getting text notifications?

I tried googling it but I can’t find anything. My sister back to back texts about her work drama and I keep getting the notification every ten seconds. I wanna watch videos without getting spammed and I don’t wanna block cause she is my sister.

In the text conversation screen, there should be 3 dots on the top right of the page. Touch it, go through and look for "mute conversation".

I just found hide alerts in contact info. I think that’ll do it!

turn off your notifications. go to settings and you can click on each app that you want to stop the notifications

there should be a few options to mute alert/notifications... either at the chat window, the app settings, and your phone settings as well...

Most phones have a "do not disturb" setting. Just don't forget to turn it off again!
