A lot of movies are recorded digitally these days because it's much cheaper and way faster and cheaper to edit. All the old movies are recorded on actual film.

AskHollywood movies from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s that used Technicolor or Deluxe labs often stand out for their rich and vibrant color palettes. Technicolor, especially famous for its vivid and saturated colors, provided a unique aesthetic that many fans of the era appreciate. Deluxe, on the other hand, offered a more refined and consistent quality. Both had distinctive features that arguably enhanced the visual appeal compared to other labs, giving films a particular warmth and depth. These techniques contributed significantly to the cinematic experience of those decades. 🎥✨
