What piece of technology, that you use in your life daily, could you give up for good if forced to?

Well my existence pre dates the internet and most certainly I phones. It would be really difficult to go back to all paper and no smartphone but it could be done and it would be as hard as you might think.

A walk in the park easy 🏞️ watch out for snakes all lol or bears etc 🐻

I could easily get by without a cell phone. I just had a flip phone until 3 years ago when I needed a smartphone for my job. I am retired so except for needing to use multi factor authentication I do not need it.

I definitely prefer actually doing things on my lappy over a phone. Too fidgety and not enough info on a screen... smart phone.

Personally in your shoes as I often daydream of 77 as a groovy number, if I was that old, and retired and on the pension, I'd be doing typical "old man (without the grumpy) vibes of "not quite living in the past, not quite with it in the present either - yet by no means struggling to get by" - 😛😈😀 a humble unassuming recluse 🫠☺️

@Sal_Monella a perfect inspiration is Agent D in Men in Black 1977, based loosely on the actor himself Richard Hamilton in my mind when I watch his performance without knowing the guy and definitely not a well known actor to me, the guy "humbly accepts retirement and asks voluntarily to retire at 77" and the real life actor went on to naturally live until age 83, another decent groovy number or even had he stretched his health out to 84. Natural causes is unavoidable. However my point I'm making sir is "please never feel "expectation" to either be a grumpy old backwards man neither a man having to keep up or looking they're trying to be hip and instead cringe" lol 😂😆 no advice good man. while I used an iPod and iPad mini, I held simultaneously onto my basic "dumb phone" until just before Covid, when in late 2019 / early 2020 I went full time to Smartphone. 😈
