What is the OLDEST ELECTRONIC DEVICE that you use every day?

Some people always have the latest electronic devices, while others, like me, continue to use older devices.

I have a 7-year old Android tablet that I use every day... playing games, reading news items and checking email. I also have a 6-year old Windows 10 laptop and a 4-year old Android smartphone, both of which get used every day.

How about you?

Please yell us about the oldest electronic device that you use every day.

Unless GaG beats me to it, I'll give MHO to the guy and girl with the oldest device.

I still have and use a sony mp3 player.

For what ever reason I like wired headphones and don't like using my cellphone for music. It's also has a much smaller profile then my phone and is lighter in the pocket for things like using it in the gym or when outdoors.

In addition I drive a 4runner that doesn't have appleplay/andriodplay or any of that fancy stuff meaning it doubles as my music system for my vehicle.

I'm still stuck in the past when it come to that one device.

I couldn't tell you how old the device is. Likely not more then 6-8 years but it's old tech and when it dies, I'll just end up replacing it with a new more modern version of the same old tech.

Probably my laptop, it's six years old. I have an even older desktop but I don't use it every day. I'm not sure how old the desktops at work are..

My MacBook Air is almost 6 years old.
My i8 phone is probably close to 8 years old.
But I might have had my 48" Samsung TV longer.

As long as my stuff works, I'm happy to keep using it. I'm not interested in upgrading to the latest models or electronic gadgets.

I don't actually know how old my laptop is.

The reason I don't know is I bought it second hand in an emergency situation and I'd vowed to not go Windows 10 from Windows 7 cause I resent giving MS more money.

It is kinda a point of honor for me as computer performance is my niche.

Older than 2018 (7 years) but younger than 2009.

I still have motherboards in some of my computers that are 15 years old and still running every single day and working well. Certain components attached to them have been upgraded, but the mobos still do their job for now.

iPad Air original released 2013. About 12 years old at the moment. Original battery. Apple stopped supporting the OS. But it's still fine for mail, books, reading business PDF's, and internet.

an old Bosch drill i got from my dad. it was built before the time of planned obsolescense so it still works even tho it's probably 40 years old or so.
