How do I keep a window from closing when opening a new window?

When writing a question here I sometimes stick my window down on the bottom bar and open a you tube window to look for a video. But when I try to retrieve my question window after downloading my video the window has disappeared. How do I stop that from happening? My computer does not like having 2 windows open at once. 😯

How about a new windows reinstall, I had to do it to fix a few issues, it's a process but it's a clean windows once you have it reinstalled, meaning any form of junk that isn't Windows is cleaned off, even junk you didn't know you had, it's basically the step over a fresh factory reset for a computer, it reinstalls windows like the computer is brand new, maybe it's a too much for a window closing issue but if it bothers you that much lol

They are going to stop supporting Windows 10 so you are forced to get Windows 11, which my computer cannot handle. But I have had this problem for a long time and it gets irritating at times.

The software support for Win10 will not stop for a long time. No supplier can afford to cut off the majority of the users. In fact, most software still runs on Win7.

It certainly works on my PC, as I need at least two windows open at the same time, divided roughly 50% on my screen, for professional reasons. I can only speak for a PC running on Windows. Maybe a Mac is totally different? Try and look at your Configuration panel, then at an option like Screen or similar. There must be a way.

Stick a book between the window and the frame, adjusting it as needed to define how open you want the window to be. Sometimes two or more books are needed.
