Have you had experience like you complain about TV talk show and the next month it was cancelled?

It happens sometimes. I complain about things on TV or something about social issues in social media and they shut it down. it's like I have a super power?

@allmenrsick I remember complaining out-loud or aloud about the Frasier reboot, how while I watched some episodes in 2023/2024, the show just didn't seem to make sense anymore - unsolicited this may be, but the lack of the setting in Seattle (and the real random curveball of how the storylines 'covered' the change in show dynamics)

You know - it wasn't just that the old man actor sadly was deceased for many years and that the brother character wasn't in the show anymore - it was just so in your face like "wham, Frasier has a early 30s son who's a fireman" and "Frasier is 60 plus now on a college campus" -

It just really took all that was great about Seattle and apartment living and just - what.

So yeah then I heard it got cancelled last year or whenever. I lol'd while also feeling bad for the Frasier actor - he's so good to still keep going at his age, but the downside was, and maybe coloured by his conservative politics, he just "didn't adapt the story, of the show, to be a wholesome show in a modern world yet also the Seattle show was different"

@allmenrsick to toot my own horn, yes I was amazed Paramount cancelled it after two seasons. I'm glad audiences shared my views that the show, just went to weird. It could've been successfully remade. Much like Rocko's Modern Life, they picked fun at how Rocko tried to adapt to smartphones, and it made sense. after all, unsolicited opinion idea, I'm a "liberal guy" or a "progressive guy" unlike the lead star actor's conservatism and if I had been making Frasier episode 1 "all these years later" I'd have instead used episode 1 to focus on the theme song - how at beginning and end of episode 1, Frasier sings the song, reflects how some modern hipsters like fun at lyrics like tossed salad 🥗"it's double meaning lol" and how at the end of the episode he sings a more poignant slightly slowed ending version where "life's calling again" - to reflect that once again, Frasier is having to face life, full of comedic joy, without his old old man, and with or without his nagging brother 😙👀😅 about time Frasier grew up, lol 😆 as an aging bachelor - no firefighter son lol

@allmenrsick anyways - Frasier is always a poor man's Seinfeld, you can tune in anytime, the show has no big morals or cringey scenes every episode - otherwise I'd vomit at every heart to heart. Seinfeld thankfully kept itself honest about being about nothing 😙😈
