AOL was before my time. My first internet was already 16 Mbit ADSL and AOL was already dead, even thought friend of my dad has still an AOL email account.

I have never used AOL, but I have used modems to connect to the internet throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.

I only have a very vague memory of it, so I must have been very young when I was using it. I certainly can't remember anything good about the experience.

I cannot even remember the last time I used a dial up modem. I think I had a dial up line as a backup at wone of my former jobs. That was pre 2000.
