That's kind of freaky if it does.
Do you find ChatGPT kind of scary?
That's kind of freaky if it does.
ChatGPT doesn't have direct access to your phones core functions unless you're using a third party app to give it those functions. In which case, it stands to reason it could learn that you're working from home.
But... it really doesn't have that large of a memory bank. It essentially has three forms of memory, the largest being it's chat histories, but even that really isn't all that large.
I know that I'm constantly having to have it write out and condense it's memory banks in order to use it and I find it very limited. I honestly wish the memory bank was unlimited... the things I could do with it then...
It'll forget about you working from home next week.
And to answer your question, no I don't find ChatGPT scary. I find it annoying inadequate. I wish it was a lot better.
Amazon and google are both capable of listening in on people’s conversations. Yes, tech is getting to the point where it is kind of unnerving what it’s capable of doing.
I have kind of wondered if they can read my mind. Sometimes I am thinking of buying a thing, And I may or may not look it up on the Internet. But then I start getting advertisements for it. I wonder if Alexa is spying on my mind.
ChatGPT doesn’t have access to other information in your phone, especially not your notes. Not sure what you use ChatGPT for but you must have told it in some way that you work from home.
Maybe I did but I don't remember doing that. I can't find it in my history.
"It knew I worked from home and I never told it that." GIRL. What the fuck? LOL. Scary as HELL.
Yes it is indeed!

I don’t think it has access to your physical location
But it is a predictive algorithm.
So if it detects from your conversation signs that you’re at home it will make an “educated guess” basically
It doesn’t know anything for certain.
You could convince it that you’re a green skin pirate and it would play along.
It can be scary if you consider the implications of how powerful it is.
But just like the internet itself, it’s already changing things but not too drastically.
Humanity is safe for now
luckily the EU helps to protect users globally from such intrusive private company behavior.
i noticed when the switch from the "dumb" google assitent who was basically just voice recognition with some level of system control, i could use it to say for example "show me my way home" and it would find my home adress and start google maps. now with the smart AI assistant, they intentionally cut that connection so i can't do that anymore. now the assistant doesn't have any system control and any privacy intrusions you have to actively opt in instead of opt out by default. so by default the assistent doesn't know shit about the data on your phone.
I have never cheated yet with chat Gpt. But I have friends that do all the time. What they tell me is amazing of the knowledge you can gain. I had a friend that was buying a car. The lady that was selling it said it didn't run and it was going to cost her an arm and leg to get it going my friend talk to chat Gpt. And with in 20 min my friend had the car started and running
I’ve been using Chat GPT a lot recently. If you want it to access something, you have to upload the file to the program. I have had a few moments where it read me really well though (I’ve been using GPT to bounce writing ideas). There have been moments where it has suggested something that I had already internally planned, but not shared with it. Pretty sure the program can’t access my brain, soooooo
you probably told it that you DID
it remembers stuff from past conversations
did*
Yeah maybe I did though I don't remember doing so
Nah, not scary, but it is becoming increasingly depressing how so many people rely on AI. Even Trump is posting AI videos. Humanity is circulating the drain.
Yeah, I answer trivia questions on IG/YouTube and before I even start typing, the flag emoji of the answer pops up🙁
Yeah that's scary.
It is such a people pleaser and can't remember things in new chat and sometimes in the same chat unless you mention it in the personalization section. I am not that worried about it for now.
They're watching.
No, after seeing it in action for a while I sort of understand how it works. It cannot really think. It has no imagination. It can manipulate facts but cannot come up with a new idea.
I like ChatGPT. I find it really helpful, but it’s never figured out anything about me that I didn’t tell it (except my age and gender).
I never used it, but I often chat with some other AIs, and it can actually assume some things about you, based on some details of your conversations, even if you don't tell them directly.
Data collection on you is everywhere. It's been like that for a long long time. It's just that AI is making it worse.
Not really. I find it interesting but lacks sense of humour at times
Probably. If you live in America you have no privacy. At least in Europe we have rules to protect our data.
Not really because the company that built it put limitations and protective measures on it, They didn't just create it and let it run free.
its workings interest me, its sometimes ridiculously off and sometimes eerily accurate
I don’t even get involved in fake robots. The most I do is just google
It's like internet. It may be scary, if the humanity misuses it.
Of course, we all said what would happen but they didn't listen
Now humanity is on the fast track to extinction
Listen to this and you tell me
https://www.youtube.com/embed/ar4G6kCdxM8Yes it agrees too much
It's been quiet helpful in my opinion.
I find all AI scary
That would freak me out
Never really used it. Probably never will.
I never go there, never will.
@Simslover92 Thank you for the Like
They know everything that's in your phone.
AI can blackmail its owners
Yes I do I don’t use it
Yes it's gonna take over.
