How ridiculously easy can passwords get?

Most of you have probably joined a company or an organisation where you wondered who came up with the password. After the robbery of royal jewelry in the Louvre museum in Paris, it's now out in the open : the museum's high-security password was simply LOUVRE.

I've worked in real estate. Every single new promotion had the original password and had never been reset, even after most of the apartments or houses had been sold. It was either 1234 or 0000. You just dialed it in at the promotion's gate and you had free access.

What's the most ridicilous password you have ever encountered?

My workplace has a minimum character count of 14 on passwords, letters, numbers, symbols and caps. They then also have a convenient piece of paper behind the computers that most people use to keep a note of their password as most cannot remember theirs

I see. But then, theoretically at least, everyone who works in the company or has access to the same workspace has access to this convenient piece of paper.

I was a receptionist for this hair salon for a little while. The password to get on their booking software was the name of the salon. So I'm not surprised about the lourve

One company I worked for, as they were showing me how to log in, explained "it says 'password' here but there isn't one, just press enter."

I used to use one password for everything in the beginning of having to use one.
But when they started asking for a capital letter, a symbol, a number, well, everything got miscombobulated and I just don't know anymore. So if I don't know then nobody else knows right?

My own. If you know how much I love a certain thing then you would know my password and yes I use it for everything.

Where I work, our passwords have to be 16 characters long and have to be changed once a month. They are impossible to remember.
