windows 11 will take screenshots every few seconds and already put a. i. a "gift" in your computer and keeps a website connection called webview 2 ALWAYS running, you can't switch it off even when edge is closed so... how much do you trust microsoft? to only "store and use a. i. to analyze locally" and not send a copy of your data? of your habits your screenshots and choices for them to analyze?

if you plan to buy a new laptop will you prefer windows operating system and trust it? or ask the seller to only install free open source linux operating system?

Last time I used Windows for a main operating system was Windows Vista. Even then I was dual booting into Linux. It was very clear how bad an operating system Windows was since Windows NT. Before that, it was just a better option than DOS. I ran Windows 7 for a little bit just to play video games, but when they started their cloud push a year latter I abandoned all of their products. I might still have some video games from Microsoft associated game studios but only if I can play them via Linux.

I used Linux for a while and it was pretty solid but it is easier to just go along with Windows. I amusing Windows 10 but imagine that since it is no longer supported that soon I will have to upgrade.
