What is the best and cheapest way to store all your photos?

I hate using physical hard disks or memory storage whateveryoucallit.

I thought about creating a website just to host images of my family, my partner, and all my cats. But do these usually come with a memory limit?

Is there a way to store a lot of photos and videos with no memory limit? For free (but with no catch), or for a reasonably-priced yearly subscription (not monthly, that's too much hassle for me)

Hosting or storing? I wouldn’t solely trust a server/domain provider. One server crash or successful hack and everything is gone.
Get a 5-disk NAS system and a picture manager software.

I have a cheap tablet that has defective speaker I'm using it as storage. I wouldn't trust anyone with my things.

I have an usb stick with all my pictures and I always print out the ones I like the most and still have a classic photo album book thing
