Is GAG losing competition to other websites like Reddit, etc?

Anyways I'm off cya going off back to reality to enjoy the real world. I find socials too boring nowadays at my ripe old age ahaha and i'd rather save my eyesight for the future. So peace out thanks for the kind words and cya ; after all, GAG is quiet now anyways, hence fewer active users or those who've gone on / moved on to a competitor site like Reddit, while I'll whisk away back to reality the real world and less screen time, more enjoying fresh air and the finer things in real life - me however i'll not be going to a competitor like Reddit and enjoying reality instead.

G@G has been on its death bed for over a year now and things are not improving. Yes, I hope users are going elsewhere and hopefully not on yet another social media site but are serious enough to move away from those sites.

The quality of posts on G@G have been continuously getting worse with the pornography topics taking the lead. There is no need for such a topic on a site where children are allowed.

If G@G would remove the 2 most conflicting topics (Sexuality/pornography and politics), then it would be an interesting site to spend time on but certainly not where there are so many perverts and trolls/spammers roaming on those 2 main conflicting topics.

One of things I hate about people is how they constantly think the grass is greener on the other side. The number 1 problem with any of these social sites is the quality of people. Moving to another site, all you get into is people who are just as bad as the people you were all ready around. When I spend more time in the real world, I realize why I spent so much time in the online world. My problems follow me where I go.

i actually feel more free to talk here than i do on reddit. reddit has a lot of bots. those bots are there on purpose. if you say something that triggers a bot shit hits the fan quickly.
