Would You Be Cryogenically Frozen To Have The Possibility Of Seeing The Extent Of Future Human Ingenuity?

There is a famous anonymous quote that I'm sure most people have heard which goes: "We are the middle children, born too late to explore the earth, born too early to explore the universe".

Even with all our technology and achievements we aren't even considered a Type-1 civilization on the Kardashev Scale; i. e. we aren't even able to fully harness the energy supply of our own planet. However, our current generation are the pioneers of what could be a star faring civilization (assuming that we don't become a statistical example for the concept of the Great Filter).

Regardless of future possibilities; whether humanity dies off or achieves technological enlightenment. Would you; assuming it's possible, be cryogenically frozen to have the chance of seeing the potential of human ingenuity in the future? For me personally, I'd probably do it if I'm in my twilight years and be frozen for at least a few millenia. How about you?

Yes, I would like to be frozen. The very worst outcome I can think of is that it wouldn't work very well, and I'd just simply wind up dead anyway.

If I'm not frozen, I'm going to be dead anyway. So the outcome would be the same.

The best outcome, however, is that I would be revived, whatever had killed me would be cured, and I would go on to have more life. I would like that.

Don't be naive and insular. The cryo industry is a scam, always will be.

We cannot bring a dead body back to life, let alone extend the life of the dying.

Cryogenics are notoriously unreliable outside of fiction, not just because those places eventually lose funding but because most of their clients just straight up die in those fridges.

Wth are you talking about? Bodies going into a cryo chamber have their blood replaced by an anti-freeze formula. Obviously they are already dead when that procedure is done.
