A drunk driver I can at least help bring to the side of the road safely. An autonomous car that may or may not have a hardware E-stop can be a death machine.

I have used Tesla’s driverless feature (FSD) for thousands of miles. There have been minor issues but no accidents but I did have to correct it a few times.

@strawberryapple Yes it has a steering wheel and I drive it like a car most of the time. I use aito steering (FSD) on long trips, late at night when I am tired, after the gym when I am wiped out, and when I am distracted by the navigation system or the online music services or asking Grok questions.

@strawberryapple i like it because I can ask “give me Italian restaurants within 10 miles that have a 4.5 star or higher rating”, and boom, I het a full list and she tells me about them. I can then ask if they are more of a pizza place or have a full menu like having lasagna. Then i pick and have her route me there un the car. Grok won’t to control things like windshield wipers yet, for that there is another AI but I would think they will become 1 one day.

Once you've experienced Grok, you just can't go back to a standard Google search. Siri is only good for controlling the phone. Siri is terrible at giving out information. I've never learned how to turn the flashlight on on my phone, so I just tell Siri to turn it on. So it won't be long before you'll be able to ask Grok to speed up your windshield wipers or turn up the heat.
