Just like any small car with a minimalist front protection, I find they are potentially tombs on wheels.
There is not much effective security and protection for driver and passengers in case of a frontal crash.
Mainly this one that was first registered between September 2006 and February 2007 according to the license plates does not have the most advanced crash protection available since it is almost 10 years of age.
While practical for driving in cities where the speed is limited by traffic and congestion, I am not sure I would feel comfortable on the small and narrow country roads of the UK.
Driving a car with dimension of a small delivery truck in tight old European cities or old 1,8m wide country roads which were build in times of crusades isn't comfortable. With 200 HP engines those Mini cars are pocket rockets.
While I like the look, just about everything else about it is negative. Requires, or strongly recommends, premium fuel (US ones at least), rough riding (from what I've read), and expensive maintenance and repair since it's a BMW. I don't know about the insurance cost but that's something to check into.
I like Mini cars.
I've never owned one, but I hired one when on vacation in the UK, and it was a fun experience.
The car was very good for travelling around the island, though I didn't travel far, and the car was also good for parking, and very economical on the gas.
@Sunrising I think if I could've tagged the asked I could've said lol "The FF on the end of the plate lol" 👀 lol
Let alone the NFF 🤭

👀 🚗 Very groovy cars - The Italian Job (I prefer 2003 in LA) and Austin Powers 3 (Goldmember) and of course the original in Mr Bean. Just a shame that it has some negative to my brain, like the BMW name and it not being 100 percent British.
Otherwise the look is awesome then as it was today. Even with the fatter Clubman and Countryman nowadays.
Usually though if I want a small hatchback like that, i'd rather but Thai, Chinese or Japanese, cars
*buy - like a Mazda built in Thailand or a MG built in China
Technically not bad, albeit overpriced cars and I’m still pissed at BMW for carving them out of their former MG Rover subsidiary, basically ensuring their bankruptcy.
tbh Rover were always going away due to shitty product.
I’m not sure about that. Rover 75/MG ZT were really solid cars. What they needed was a new Rover 25 mass seller, which they couldn’t finish developing because they were missing the revenue from the Mini sales.
Cute cars. I wouldn't feel comfortable driving in it because of the size
Compared to the original Mini, they are actually quite large! 🙂

They're funky but impractical. Anyways I don't think I'm the target demographic.
Im too tall for a lot of normal size cars let alone small ones
I don't like them 😒
@YourExLover69 I respect your honesty - your brutal, uncompromising honesty.
You did not hold back. Emphasis.
They're ai-ight.
