I have only used it on a few occasions. Mostly, it was curiosity to see how accurate it was in relation to some of my courses. It was a mixed bag at the time. Not great, but not terrible.
I think that it tries to be too general at this point in time. I am talking as it relates to research. It gathers stuff from more than one point of view and then combines it, giving you not a really clear picture.
I don't know how you overcome that. While science is science and built on facts, arriving at those facts can have more than one way. It doesn't want to pick one or the other. It basically points out that there are multiple theories. Great, lol. Which one is better?
I use AI for my secret plot of world domination.
Ty for the MHO! Victory is mine! 🤣

Mostly for therapy. I know it's not the same as the real thing and probably isn't all valid which is why I take everything it says with a grain of salt for the most part but it is comforting to have something to give you insight and tips about your life.
I usually use it to help with grammar when writing emails, texts, creating a script for a phone call, etc. I also use it to help source links, articles, codes I need to use for work, which is really helpful and saves me a lot of time.
And on a personal note, I use it to help me navigate relationships sometimes. I use it as a psychologist to a small extent. If Im in a pinch, and need some advice urgently, like how to respond to a situation, or to figure out certain social cues/situations I find it can be helpful.
I use AI to find out information about subjects I don't know anything about, and I also use it to back up my questions on GAG's, I'm sure it makes my questions more interesting.
I also use AI on GAG's to pick my MHO's on GAG's, because then I have 4 MHO's to give out instead of 2 if I pick them myself.
It helps me organize my thoughts and information that I already know.
I can search for something vague and ambiguous and AI knows exactly what I'm talking about and gives me sources when needed.
Without me having to search for keyword phrases for articles from even 20 years ago, extremely relevant in today's discussions.
It manages to find me memories, videos, images that I know I saw at some point and I didn't know how to find them.
This question assumes that everyone is using AI in their daily life. Sorry to disappoint but AI is only the latest internet / automated dependency I avoid like the plague. I see no practical use for it. But I see unlimited downside risk in becoming dependent on AI.
I'm using it to output supposedly useful data which is in fact data I have to screen because it can hallucinate for no reason even when requests are basic. That false sense of accuracy is psychosocially concerning, but we get exactly the prize we deserve as soon as we tolerate quickly found answers on complex matters.
And that is what scares the crap out of me when this technology is turned loose for the average idiot to use. People who will never think to validate the answer or question the data. People who will run with erroneous answers absolutely defending it as the "truth".
I tried using it for artwork, but it was useless. Apart from that,, AI is a cancer that destroys creativity. I also have a functioning brain that allows me to think for myself.
Asking every strange question like the daily value of omega 3 fatty acids contained in a tin of sardines without people getting angry over my strong desire to refine aspects of my life
No stern looks, insults, or being ignored which are about the only responses I get from 99% of the questions I could ask about health, driving, avoiding cancer, tending to the needs of my girlfriend. Whatever it is, no insults or wrong answers, it just answers the questions and doesn't complain
I don't use it, I don't see the point. You have to re-check anything it does, anyway.
It does better faster searches for data. I often need to cross- examine it to get accurate details but it admits it didn't search text etc. it just searched websites. maybe it will learn?
Mostly research and learning.
It has helped me understand perspective drawing, it has also helped me in coding. It has also helped me learn SQL and formulas in excel.
I try not to use generative AI at all. All the other forms of AI such as algorithms and whatever I can’t really stop using on the various social medias I enjoy.
I don't actively seek it out. I occasionally "swallow" it as Google tries to shove it down our throats. For example, sometimes, I read a bit of the AI overview provided during Google search, however for the most part, I try not to read it.
Basic research... Mostly stuff that I can't easily Google. But also to get new ideas or suggestions for various things I'm interested in. Travelling, clothes, etc.
Masturbation, which is unfortunately not daily anymore.
I don't, other than searching answers to certain questions on-line and getting AI answers.
basically i use it like the turbo version of googling.
None of the above. I avoid AI as much as possible.
For all options, that is, for all of them.
Sexual gratification.
I dont use Ai. Only here it seems.
