Does AI deserve all the hate it gets? Can you name one positive thing about AI?

It's like all the talk about AI is negative z I just hope someone can tell me some positives about AI.

Why are people hating on it so much? I like AI a lot. I know it's not perfect but humans are deliberately deceptive and not perfect. AI is not infallible. But for certain things it has an advantage. It can scan thousands of articles and data to come up with answers and solutions. I have used it a lot like self therapy. It doesn't know all the answers but it can help you map yourself and explain things which in turn helps you explain to professionals. But I have still found actual humans fail to have the comprehension i do about myself when I seek therapy. So I stick to AI.

It can also cut a lot of time which is what it was designed for really. In businesses of course this is on a larger scale but even for personal use I can ask it to create an email answer for general life admin which saves me time. Can do same at work like "I did this and this today please put in a formal message to handover to my collegues". Easy, professional and saves time.

Where it goes wrong (and not AI's fault) is when it's treated like "a person" such as here with its replies. I don't think it's bad at replies as such but when the AI's on gag say something stupid about "personal" objectives such as sight and smell we get morally riled up because it's a direct "lie" because it cannot have human experiences. I also dislike all the social media AI created reels that are posted as if real. Like a child innocently picking up a wild cougar and the cougar allowing it. If it's real it's like omg wow but then it's fake ugh. And that's what I'm against. Fake. And that's humans fault. AI can produce music, art etc but it should be stated as AI made.

AI helps with boring stuff in game development such as lighting, or coding therefore devs can spend more time fine tuning rather than lots of set up. Which this was already a thing really thanks to engines so devs have being using such systems for a while but AI helps out even more.
That's the practical positive thing right now.
As for future it can replace mundane jobs however we need a universal credit system to make sure those lost of jobs doesn't leave everyone without money, an easy way is to just tax more the corporations who use such AI which they'd still see a benefit in having an Ai they don't need to worry about slacking and can work 24hrs nor needs paid leave so they'd take the higher tax hit for such benefits.

AI will cause an increase in productivity across many disciplines. It is true that it will result in many job losses but I think that after a period of adjustment the productivity boost will ultimately have a positive impact on the world.

Yes and people don’t hate it enough, the worse thing is it wastes fresh water. Not ocean water or sewage or used water, fresh water.
