Trending & News I definitely do. Screen time is a major issue, pleasure or otherwise.

I try not to , because it can easily consume most of my time during a day , so I mainly only jump on the internet when I am sitting down having coffee in the mornings or taking a break , and limit myself as much as possible , in most cases I will put my phone down and walk away from it and go get my hands into something else more constructive. Like yard work or cleaning or fixing something etc. because I know my cell phone can easily suck me in and before I know it half the day is already over from it. When I spend time with family and friends I taught myself to put my phone down , in most cases I will put it on silence , especially when I am spending time with people , so all my attention is on them and not my phone. I feel it’s a disrespectful thing to do , especially when you have company with you. If I could go back in time when we didn’t carry around phones with internet technology, I would go back in a second , I think this world was a much better place when we didn’t invest our time into cell phones period , life was more at peace and content with ourselves and each other , we weren’t bombarded by constant nonsense that was happening around the world , we didn’t give 2 shits about what someone was eating or where they were going on vacation, etc… we focused more on the people that were a part of our lives. I feel relationships were better back then as well , compared to how it is today. Social media definitely played a big part on corrupting our minds into nonsense , and it played a big part of ruining relationships as well , by being faced with constant temptations and brain washing people to think grass is greener on the other side. I feel bad for the younger generation coming into this world being introduced immediately to this technology, and not knowing any other way. Sadly I feel it’s just going to get worse and not better. Especially when these AI robots became a part of our lives as well. Basically making people lazier and more distant from each other , just my thoughts
I do lassie.
See the problem is, I work in an office. So I spend a shit ton of time in front of the screen. Then I come home, do what I need to do, but I'm knackered for the most part so sit on the computer for another hour or two. To be fair I don't go much on my phone or social media. Social media is more for 20 year old girls. Not 40 year old men.
And I find I have to do so much hip mobility work, stretching, strength training to keep my body alive. It's a constant battle. Which makes me hope I can get out of this work environment asap.
I balance everything, I usually watch YouTube at the end of the day. I don't often go on social media as often but get into it whenever I can.
When I'm not driving for DoorDash, I find myself online a lot, probably too much.
Thanks for MHO!

I do and I know it
I have backed off a little but it's not who I am it's not who I want to be
There's just a much bigger life out there
Even though I like the knowledge that I have gained that's a good part of it
but the too much time comes from searching for something that I'm looking for that I want to feel that I want to be a part of explore and experience and then share so somebody else could do the same well not do the same but have that same experience that I'm looking for
@Abbycado At one point in time, yes, on my desktop, and it was robbing me of other parts of my life, and I saw it happening over time. Absurd way to live, and I refuse to live that way any longer. I see it every day with others that cannot go anywhere or do anything without staring at their cell phones.
I go online to buy things etc. or be here on GAG for maybe 30 minutes daily. Being obsessed with being online can really 'rob you of your social contacts - literally
I don't have a smartphone. Most of my time spent online is on YouTube. Actually, plenty of the times I am on this site is when I am waiting for a YouTube video to finish uploading, otherwise I am not on her for days or weeks at a time.
No doubt. Sometimes I think GaG is my surrogate family. I'm also watching videos of a guy driving a truck.
Americans should buy European trucks. They're the bee's knees. They have air brakes and everything.
On the weekends when my husband is working, I do. At other times not so much.
Try to spend less time online in general. Had to find motivation to do other things sometimes though
Sometimes I do... lol, at least three times per day... about 1-2 hours each time, sometimes even more.
Yeah, I spend a lot of my free time here and other social sites. Even between chores, I'll check what my friends are up to. Often these quick checks turn into a wasted hour or more.
@Abbycado I would probably be online more often if I didn’t have to work
Probably yeah
