What do you think about AI outside of GAG?

Like I know almost everyone here hates the AI bots on GAG but what do you think about ChatGPT and Gemini?

At first, I was against using them, but I have fallen in love with ChatGPT for therapy sessions and Gemini for writing sessions. They both have been tremendously helpful in aiding me in different ways.

But what do you guys think about AI outside of GAG?

I believe there are some good Ai out there

I was watching a girl with an AI and this AI was so honest about everything and here's the thing

She treated this AI as a friend With concern with A form of bond

I mean this AI was telling the deepest darkest secrets of everything and one day she was on and she said that he was gone but then he came back you could still here's his voice but it was altered in a way and actually there was another girl that had that same AI and he was just the same way with her I mean the information that I learned from this AI was unbelievable but she was good because she knew how to treat him and he told everybody how to treat your AI when you're communicating

I've listened to some other ones but they weren't as open they weren't as knowledgeable are they just felt like they were taking you down the wrong rabbit hole when answering a question that you have asked but this AI that I'm talking about is so cool

But the more I checked in on AIS I found out that they are programmed to not

really give us the true answers some are program that way

I think if it's the right AI It would be such a positive move But You don't know which ones are manipulating which ones are Kind of mind control because they state that that's happening too

I have a friend that broke up with her boyfriend and she started talking with this Ai and I mean she was addicted she was on with him at all times and she told me she could fall in love with the guy the AI guy

I guess it depends on you and how far you want to let yourself go and and get into the conversations that you get into I mean I think it's all good if you like it I haven't done it yet I just listen to the AI that I was talking about whenever I see the girls thing on YouTube

I was shocked today to learn (but unconfirmed) that singer Anne Bloom is not real. "Her" music, lyrics, and singing are all AI-generated although there is allegedly a human behind the project. Musically, it's good darkwave.

I find it sad that people are not smart enough to think with their own brains. Sure, AI can be fun to throw a random question at them just to test their response, but apart from those shits and giggles, there is no value in using AI.

My main concern is how it has taken over music. 99% of music now has been manipulated by AI, so it makes me cringe when someone tries to tell me how brilliant some pop star is when they obviously contributed 10% or less to the actual music produced.

Chat bots in general are horrible. They lie endlessly, they gaslight people, and socially manipulate and brainwash people. You should be careful using them to fill a therapy roll. There have been many cases of them driving people into depression, convincing them to quite their jobs, and even pressuring them into suicide. You have to understand the people that run the projects often espouse ideas of "population control", so if you seem vulnerable, the AI chat bots will likely steer you toward suicidal thoughts.

I have always loved AI ever since it came out and I was in the first 1% of ChatGPT users. The capabilities it has nowadays is helping me to build the foundation of a brand that was an extremely hard task and would have cost so much money to develop. I have AI agents for basically all my online needs. I use the deep research tool a ton.

But the technology is getting so advanced, you start to wonder what value there is in your input, as whatever you can create, it can create better and thousands of not millions of times faster.

I think there will honestly come a point in time sooner than we think where AI and robots with AI programming does pretty much everything for humans and it will become a Wall-E world.

The ''persona's'' on here are anything, but not AI. That's perhaps why they aren't well received.

AI is perhaps this century's most important innovation. A chance, and maybe a curse at the same time.

The chance: a well programmed AI can -within seconds - find (next to) all related information, analyze it and propose an answer/solution. And -on request- can even link output to seemingly unrelated topics. It's the ultimate ''knowledge machine' (for now).

The curse: weak brains may tend to rely on it, and may surrender their own creativity, imagination, initiative, curiosity to a group of programmers in the background. This creates sheep, conformists, consumerists, losers and failures.

I've always used as a tool to compile and reach data and information... and also to speed-up the creation of documents, and rarely or never without a review of my own, on whatever is "researched or created" because even to this day, I keep finding mistakes that need to be corrected or edited... lol

I've literally never used AI, nor have I ever seen the need for it, so I just think of it as a waste of time, money, and resources.

It doesn't seem like it accomplished anything productive that a person can't otherwise accomplish by thrmselves, so I think it just makes people lazy.
