Could my online stalker be causing my LinkedIn connections to drop?

Me enemy has been online for at least 8 - 30 hours a week telling lies about me and I know he spent at least 3 months trying to harvest information about my social media contacts through LinkedIn, I notice my connections list has dropped by around 0-15 people since he started harassing people for being friends with me online. I wonder if he is responsible for that. But I also do not remember how many friends I had on linked in before the harassment started.
