If you've been looking for some creepy places to visit or at least research about this Halloween weekend, look no further!

Since we all know about the castle of Dracula, the French catacombs and the Chernobyl disaster zone, I'm not going to address those well known places nor their stories. I'll be focusing on the places you might not have heard of... until now!

I am here to introduce you to some really intriguing European places you just might want to find out more about!

1. Church of Ghosts - Czech Republic

A part of the church, in the town of Lukova, collapsed and has been neglected for many years until an artist J. Hadrava took it upon him to build plaster parishioners to give new life to an otherwise decaying building. Although nothing really paranormal happened in this site, people still come here from all walks of life to pray and take pictures of the marvelous ingenuity that is this sight before you!

2. The Hallstatt Bonehouse - Austria

Since the town of Hallstatt never had vast amount of space where to bury their deceased, every decade or so they'd dig out the skeletons and put them in the Bonehouse to make room for newly deceased townspeople. The exhumed bones have been decorated and line the walls of the chapel of St. Michael.

3. Cortijo Jurado - Spain

This abandoned mansion was said to be built by a wealthy family who would kidnap teenage girls and take them back to their mansion for torture and would inevitable meet their untimely deaths. Some people say they can still hear the young girls screams coming from the estate.

4. Hoia Baciu Forest - Romania

Everything, from UFOs to ghosts has been spotted in this forest. It is widely known as a land Bermuda triangle. There have been reports of accidental deaths in these woods with the families of the deceased feeling something went wrong with their loved ones just moments after their deaths.

5. Edinburgh Castle - Scotland

It is widely believed that Edinburgh is the most haunted city of all of Europe and the castle of the same name is no different. People have reported hearing and seeing ghosts, music, apparitions coming from the dungeons and tunnels beneath the castle.

6. Miranda Castle - Celles - Belgium

This castle has been noted as a ghost hunter's lavish playground! Built in the 19th century it has had its fair share of history. In the 1970's it was an orphanage and now it's abandoned - mostly kept alive by the tourists - avid ghost hunters - there to try to catch a glimpse of the supernatural!

7. Langham Hotel - Marylebone - London

It has been visited by M. Twain, O. Wilde and Sir A. C. Doyle! The most haunted room in this hotel is the room 333 and the most notable ghosts you should definitely look out for are: a military man, the ghost of Napoleon III, the butler and the man in Victorian style evening-wear!
