Here are just a few of the Nude Resorts and/or Beaches that I have been to, or go to regularly, and why I like them ...or not.
THE SEQUOIANS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO EAST BAY AREA (Founded 1947)
This is one of my favorite. It is nude only, clothing is not allowed, with rare exception, like a bikini bottom if you are on your period.
All guests are ID'd and kept on file. They have one free Saturday per year for those curious to come and check the place out but entry is still cheap otherwise anyway.
They have a great swimming pool, Jacuzzi and outdoor showers and host many BBQ's through out the year.
There are 80 acres of hiking available here but watch out for poison oak! I know that from personal experience! ...lol
I have done overnight camping here as well.
They have pot luck events with live bands and dances and many games like volleyball, ping pong, bocce ball, croquet, badminton and horse shoes just to name a few.
On the 4th of July they do a hike to the top of the mountain to watch the sun set and the Bay Area fireworks.
They have summer full moon walks also for those with the wolf and vampire spirit in you.
Most who are nudists, or want to try a nude freedom experience, will love this place!
Children and teenagers under 18 are allowed on the grounds when accompanied by a parent or guardian or when prior written permission is provided from the parent or guardian.

LUPIN NATURIST CLUB AND LODGE (Founded 1935)
LUPIN LODGE IS A WOMAN OWNED (Lori Kay Stout) NUDIST RESORT IN THE REDWOODS OF THE BEAUTIFUL SANTA CRUZ COAST MOUNTAINS IN THE SOUTHERN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
Among many acres of hiking in the Santa Cruz redwood mountains, my sisters and our friends have had the greatest time at the live band late night dances that they have had here!
I don't drink, but one of my sisters and some of our friends have needed me to escort them back to our cabin on occasion when we go there where they were having way too much fun ...lol
Right now they are offering monthly nude art classes where you can paint a nude or be a nude for a painter! Here is what they say if you would like to model...
"If you’d like to volunteer as a model, you simply need to be comfortable being nude in front of a group, and be able to hold a pose for 5, 10, or 15 minutes – that’s up to you. You can leave your name and number at the Lupin office or come for one of the lessons on the second Saturday of the month and volunteer then!"

No children under 14 are allowed in the pool, hot tubs or sauna without adult supervision.
This is a "Clothing Optional" resort except nudity is required in in the pool, hot tubs and sauna.

Harbin Hot Springs Retreat Center, Middletown, California (Founded in the 1860's)
This is in the town where one of my cousins lives and has had 3 babies by natural water birth. Her, and her husband, love the Harbin Hot Springs and are fixtures there year round. They moved there just to be near the springs.
Much of Middletown was destroyed in a major California wild fire in 2015. Her house was spared but most structures did not make it and the Harbin Hot Springs Resort was entirely destroyed with very little preserved there save the swimming pool. They have since rebuilt the resort and continue to add more structures along with forest replanting. This is the latest of many fires that have swept through the resort over the decades.
Prior to development by Victorian Settlers in the 1860's, Harbin was used by native indians for spiritual events. In the 1960's Harbin was turned into a hippie commune where LSD and other drugs where experimented with and free love was practiced. It lasted for about 15 years before being converted into a New Age Spiritual Center and Resort.
Harbin is one of my favorite resorts as it is clothing optional and nudity is not required there. I like that because it allows you to dress in ultra sexy thong bathing suits which can be topless or not. During summer months there are hundreds of people there, including families with children of all ages.

BAKER BEACH - SAN FRANCISCO
Baker Beach is located on the east side of the Golden Gate Bridge
It is very cold most of the year here and I don't like the cold, so I find the summer is the best time to visit.
There are tons of gays and lesbians that frequent this beach as you would expect.
If public sex is not your thing, than you may want to skip this one. I mean it is not done right where everyone is but if you stroll the beach in warm weather you will see it frequently ...just saying.

PIRATES COVE, AVILA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
This one is just south of Avila Beach and about 10 minutes from the University of San Luis Obispo, California.
This beach is extremely popular with the young college crowd. It does attract some gawkers because of that so be prepared. Again, visit this one on warm summer days for the best experience.
I have another cousin that I am also very close to who lives near the beach here so I frequent there often with him and his wife.

SECRET COVE NUDE BEACH, LAKE TAHOE, NEVADA
Here is another must see visit if you are in strolling through Lake Tahoe in the summer.
It is a little bit of a hike to get there but so beautifully amazing. I have been to this one about 3 times hiking and many others by boat.
We have 2 Lake front homes here so normally arrive to bask nude in the sun by water craft.
Don't miss this one if you are ever in the Tahoe area!

BONNY DUNE NUDE BEACH, (north of) SANTA CRUZ, CALIFORNIA
This one is also very cold most of the year but is a nice summer stop along the Northern California scenic coast. I have been here many times with family and friends over many years.

LITTLE BEACH, WAILEA, MAUI, HAWAII.
A regular hangout during our stays on the island. This beach can get very busy at times as it is one of the only beaches where nudity is allowed on any of the Hawaiian Islands.
My sisters, and I, met many great people at this beach.
Little Beach and many other Nude or Clothing Optional Destinations are listed with "Trip Advisor" as Must See's.
