Would you rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska, and why?

Hawaii because it's warmer and it seems more appealing than Alaska. Alaska gets 24 hours of darkness during the winter so I wouldn't want to go there during that time. I find it scary for some reason (I don't know why) and depressing. I don't like the cold (even though I live in New York. It's not always cold here though) so I'm not sure if I can tolerate a place like Alaska. I sometimes think about Hawaii and imagine myself laying in the sand on a beach.

we went there end of May, the weather was lovely and sunny, warm. no matter where one goes, it all down to the weather, some friends went to Hawaii in April and it rained everyday for 16 days,
I heard that a guy went to the Grand Canyon and it was covered in mist and couldn't see nothing

I love nature cold n forest but id pick Hawaii. Clear water n chance to see new things would be cooler

I've already been to both. So I can go back and see new areas. But I'll probably say Hawaii. Islands are more my style, and it's better connected. Alaska has interesting places, but it's difficult to get from one to the other, and they aren't that different from eachother. While in Hawaii, each island feels unique.

Hawaii in general has more to offer

I live in Florida. I'm sure that Hawaii is different, but Alaska would be like going to another planet. Sign me up for that Alaska cruise!

Hawaii would be so relaxed in my head and first choice by a mile I would be interested to visit Alaska though
