If I were to visit America what state would you recommend?

Since you are from France, I'd suggest New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Those states share a border with the Canadian province of Québec. New York also shares a border with the province of Ontario, while Maine shares a land border with the province of New Brunswick and a water border with the province of Nova Scotia. Canada is officially bi-lingual, but, the closer you are to the borders of Québec and New Brunkswick, the more you will see the French language and the French influence.
New York, of course, also has New York City and, for someone from Europe, NYC is a very special place.
However, the states along the Mississippi River also have considerable French influence and you can see that in the names and the Catholic religion. This area was part of "Louisiana" of New France and was still French after the Treaty of Paris in 1763 ending the Seven Years War with England. I live in Missouri not far from Saint Louis named after the King of France. Near me are the last living speakers of a dialect of French called Missouri French or Paw-Paw French. Of course, the US state of Louisiana is something you may wish to see. Louisiana is just east of Texas, but it is, by far, the most French state in the USA. New Orleans is the city to visit especially during Mardi Gras.
By the way, do you know G@G user @Julielamar2 ? She is also a French citizen.

Well I'm biased so I would recommend Utah. But my current hometown hometown is Las Vegas NV. I wouldn't recommend here. It's full of dust and hot rocks.
The west coast is very beautiful along Northern California, Oregon and Washington. I've been to Oregon.
Oregon and Washington are too white I don't like it.
lol. alright dude
Alaska in August or June. Not to cold and its still green, plenty of opportunities for fishing, camping, hunting, rafting, boat and plane tours. People tend to leave you alone. If you are in Anchorage you have a chance at some of the best pizza in the world, definitely my favorite places in the USA.
Depends on the scenery you like, New York has the city of Manhattan or Long Island which if you go far enough east it’s wine country and farms , or maybe Arizona which is very scenic in certain areas like the Grand Canyon. Could always go to Hawaii but it’s far from the states
Texas is pretty hot at this time of year but that is not a bad state to go to but I think most states people like to go to California because it either Summer or spring and the crappy seasons never come around. You just need to weigh your options with cost and whst city to live in the state.
Don't come here. The United States is now a communist country that is requiring papers to eat a burger in the same city that the statue of liberty stands. America isn't all it's cracked up to be.
I don't recommend any state in America because I think it's boring maybe because I lived here all my life. I'm interested in Maine and Massachusetts but I don't think that is exciting for outsiders like you.
How much time do you have, and how will you get around? And what do you want to see? Mountains and beaches you can see in France, deserts in North Africa. I assume you want something more uniquely American.
California. Any major coastal city should be good.
avoid florida cause its a hotbed for covid right now
Texas is HOT, humid, sticky. Fire Ants, Killer bees, Water Moccasins, illegal aliens. Try Idaho, Nevada, Montana.
I guess it depends, if you want to go to the best city in the world go to NYC, if you want to go to a city that beat represents the US, maybe go to somewhere on the Midwest.
How about a nice snow trip somewhere in the state of Illinois.
no, don't go texas
that's not a good idea, at all
if you want to come here, go to nevada
I live in Nevada too. I wouldn't recommend lol. To those unadjusted to the heat it's a hellhole.
Every state has its own appeal and it really depends on your tastes. Are you planning on a trip here? If you'd like some ideas, DM me and we can talk about different ideas.
Texas is good. Florida is good to visit. Louisiana has best food. Maine in summer is good.
no, you don't. great chance you'll be stuck there for a while on a ventilator.
depends on what you want to do
Texas has almost all the activities you may want.
