I'm from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before I moved to Korea for my job, but I think Atlanta, Georgia would be the ideal mix of red state and (sane) blue state values, for me. Georgia, or maybe even Michigan, would be the ideal "purple state" (but mostly still red) state I'd want to live in. If I had to pick a purely red state, then definitely Texas.

If I ever moved to the states it would most likely be to pursue my career so I'd need a major city for that. Although I'm told homes are the cheapest in Texas I'm not sure the lifestyle there is for me. Maybe Florida or Cali on account of the good weather and proximity to the ocean which I miss badly. Depending on the opportunity I would go to NY Although I live in Paris which many describe as a dead ringer to NY still it's not such a bad place
I'd really hate leaving beautiful California but, if I'd consider it, Hawaii would be my next home. I already have a loft there.
The goal is NC or GA

for me it would be TN but I met a girl in a state I never dreamed of living in... I wouldn't move there for any other reason but for her tbh. Otherwise I like FL and SD. Only issue with SD is not enough of a dating pool so that'd have to be a place I go AFTER wifing a girl up tbh lol.
Texas or Florida. I've enjoyed many trips to either and don't like the cold, so North wouldn't be an option.
Well if I can’t go with my own I’m gonna go with Florida.
Assuming I can afford it... Hawaii. Cost of living is expensive but it would be great to have a lanai on a hill overlooking a beach on one of the smaller islands, not Oahu or Hawaii (the Big Island).
Probably Virginia. If I had to move then I would prefer to not be so far from NY (where I live currently). It would be nice because I have a cousin who's doing his residency in DC and I also have a friend on here (@jamie05rhs) who lives in Virginia. 🙂 If I had to go there I don't think my homesickness would be too bad.
Coming from Texas, I would pick either Utah, Idaho, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Dakota, or Missouri, in no particular order because I'd need a few days in each to pick more specific locations and rank them accordingly. These are just states that I've liked as a visitor, or have family in already.
10 years ago I would've included Washington and Maine on that list too, and probably wouldn't have included TN or KY.You shouldn’t think I’m terms of that. Look at houses you want and general climate and things. States are political designations which have low down to earth relevance
i'm stuck between Texas and Montana.
Texas has access to the Caribbean and international airports so... i think Texas wins.I'm in CA. If I had to move to another US state I'd choose Oregon. I've heard the land is beautiful. There's still beaches too.
I’m in South Asia! Definitely I’d love to be in Arizona.
Even though L. A has the hottest girls!I'm in Arizona I love the cold so I feel like Alaska would be amazing. California is nice but way to damn busy. Washington might be nice as well but my mind goes to fires as most of the west goes up in flames during fire season. 🔥
I left Florida, what a backwards and racist place.
It's like they want to recreate the worst of the third world with a totally corrupt governor.Alaska
because they have more freedom there then the lower 48 states. I could live in the wilderness for the rest of my life there and be a real free man.
I live in Wisconsin nowI'm very happy in Florida: warm weather, low cost of living, no state income tax, and virtually no gun control.
I'd either go back to Georgia or I'd go to Wyoming.
Being a non US citizen but having lived in Massachusetts previously and travelled extensively, I'd either go with Massachusetts or Maine.
I live in North Carolina right now. It is Great. xxoo
Anywhere except NY, OR, CA, or the desert.
If I'm not an American but I have lived in a certain state for a few years and left can i still choose that state?
