Speaking as someone that has lived in Tennessee her whole life, the ONLY reason I stay here is because I can’t afford to live anywhere else. Otherwise I would 100% move to California

Cali is really only ridiculous expense wise if you’re in the big city areas. IE : LA, San Fran, San Diego, etc. If you go to a smaller, lesser known town it’s actually much more affordable. Redding is a town in Northern California that is very affordable, and it’s absolutely beautiful. Reminds me a lot of Oregon, lots of trees and nice mountain views.
