Doubtful, but I guess it would depend on where, and what the opportunity was for me there. I think I could transition with relative ease to an English-speaking country. I’m not really looking to learn a second language, so I wouldn’t really consider a non-English-speaking place. Canada, I could do that, no problem, although maybe not Quebec. Or Newfoundland, lmao.

I could get by in the UK and Ireland, I think, and also Australia and New Zealand. The dialects might be challenging though. Any of the English-speaking Caribbean islands…. don’t threaten me with a good time😂

Although if the country has a safe and pleasant reputation. A contracted job offer with much higher pay than I make now for a year or two. Plus company housing already setup. I'd move without visiting first.

I say no to that. The culture shock and legalities would be too much if forced on me all at once. There is one case where I would do so, but it is so extreme and not likely to happen. That would be a complete transformation of the U. S. to the point where none of our freedoms are intact.

I did this when I moved to Japan in 2013 for my Master's research. I'll do this again when I move to my girlfriend's country.

I'm not an outgoing person. The only things I need to know in advance about a country is that it has constant power, good internet, and I can look at nice apartments for rent online before I arrive.

There are many countries I'd visit for a vacation but never move to. I don't think one vacation to a country would be enough to make me want to move there.
