American intercity buses, Greyhound being the best known, are basic transportation from point A to point B. They are certainly nothing at all like the super-comfortable buses in Turkey (Metro being my favorite) with TV and snacks.
On Greyhound you'll get a seat which is roughly the width of a coach class airline seat, but with more leg room. There should be power plugs for electronic devices, but don't count on them working. Normally seats are not reserved, so try to board the bus first and check the power plugs in each seat until you fine one which works. WiFi? 50-50 chance it will work.
The bus stops every couple of hours for a meal and toilet break. There may or not be a tiny toilet on the bus, but it will probably be locked. Unlike bus services worldwide, chances are that there will be only a driver on board and no other crew member to assist you.
In America, bus travel is normally used only be low income people who want the lowest possible fare rather than comfort and extras like beverage service. You might consider flying.
