Who is your least favorite sitcom character and why?

For me it’s Ross Geller from Friends 😅
He’s written to be sympathetic, but his jealousy, constant “we were on a break” victim act, and passive-aggressive behavior toward Rachel just exhaust me. As I rewatch, his controlling tendencies and ego feel more cringey than funny. The rest of the ensemble aged way better as characters than Ross did.

Kramer from “Seinfeld” is completely annoying.
However, I absolutely hated Leonard’s mother in “The Big Bang Theory”. She was largely neglectful at her best, and typically flat out abusive. Yet her bits got laughs. So her appearances were just a constant reminder that nobody cares when men are abused. In fact, it’s hilarious. Leonard even demonstrated how hurtful his mother was, everyone still laughs. He said it outright. Everyone still laughs. Like maybe if they’d written it so he didn’t care, and he wasn’t carrying wounds from his hateful mother, then maybe you could pull laughs out of it. I can’t think of a single movie or show that ever got laughs for a girl or a woman being flat out abused by her parents or anyone else.
The double standard is sickening.
It’s tragedy when females are abused. It’s comedy when males are abused. It should be a crime to reinforce this disgusting double standard.
