1. Explore the city (or the nature around it)
2. Try out local food
3. Relax so I can explore some more :D
4. Meeting locals. I do think it is nice to meet people from different cultures, but I hang out in international groups at work and in general in my free time, so not a high priority when travelling. Plus I find nice local spots myself by just going to none-touristic areas.
5. Nightlife.. it is fun sometimes, but I do without this for 90 % of my travels. Rather want to take advantage of the day time.
Eat. I don't know what it is but I'm gonna eat it and see if my body likes it. Yolo.

Yea actually the worst thing you can do is go where all the tourists go you will get ripped off and you won't really get to feel the country or atmosphere. Its fine to take pictures but to really experience the culture you have to go where the locals go
Yes exactly! Plus all the picture taking spots in tourist areas are packed and you always have unwanted people in the background. The place where the local guy took me was completely empty perfect for pictures!
Yup! I lived in the middle east for a while so i know exactly all the tricks lol
Explore the city using public transport:

Meet and then eat with the locals:

Enjoy the nightlife (sorry, but no photos of that).
Using public transport is fun but I always get anxious because missing a stop can bring me way farther and more lost. I do prefer to walk, bike or uber to a specific location. But I still get lost so it doesn't matter lmao

I want to explore the city no matter how tired I am or how bad the weather might be. I think that I might not visit that place again, so just staying at the hotel forever is not an option. Also, I am not a fan of crazy nightlife, so I will just go out to a bar/pub and that's it.
Same as you. Getting lost in the city and mingling with the locals 😁.
Yes always super fun!
I have only been to one other country (Canada). I saw Niagara Falls once, Then I went to Montreal and went to a few clubs and went up Mt Royale. I went to Nova Scotia and ate at a lot of different restaurants and went sight seeing. We met some local people and some other tourists. Went on a sailboat and went kayaking.
Visit cultural and historical monuments, or beautiful places. I'm also interested in the local cuisine. But I honestly have zero interest in the night life.
My priorities are:
1. restaurants and food
2. nightlife
3. some sightseeing
4. Enjoy the cultural events and see what’s on locally
I only like hotels if it is an all inclusive beach resort or an American or Australian one cause their standard of living is high and their hotels are luxurious. Otherwise, the city is my favourite part.
I love travel and exploration.
I try to avoid touristy stuff and ask the locals about the real stories behind everything.
Always a success and fun and informative
Meet the locals I loved to talk to German people when I was there 🤭😊
I like to wander about the city just observing people. And see whatever special sites there are.
I used to check out the nightlife too, but not so much as I got older.
" meeting the locals " translation: I like to travel the world and bang billions of guys before I'll hit the wall and lock down the stupid nice guy with kids and marriage.
Rest from jetlag, then go get something to eat. From there it's wondering the city and talking to locals to find great off the tourist path places
B-explore the city is most important to me, and I also like to D-try the restaurants and E-meet the locals.
Mostly B. Than E and D. Not to keen on nightlife, and as for Option A if I wanna chill inside a building, I can literally do that in my own house for free
Explore. See the sights. Try the restaurants. Talk to locals. It's all fun.
Lovely photo by the way.
I agree with you. Exploring the city and meeting and interacting with locals is really the main thing. If you're not going to see the sights and meet the people, why go?
Explore the local famous foods and meet the girls :P
then explore other stuff
B, C, and D.
I've been lost so many times, lol.
Samee but sometimes getting lost is fun as long as it isn't scary lol
I only go to places where I know there's something interesting, so I go to those places. I'm a pretty intimidating looking person, so meeting locals never happens.
See the sights. Mountains. beaches, archeological and natural sites.
I'll let you know when I get to that point.
Hopefully that's soon!
Taste local food.
Experience culture.
Visit places
Raise a fuck ton of cash prior to even thinking of going to any country first.
Talk to locals about interesting places and the food.
You look super cute. I also like to explore unique places that country has to offer and also experience traditional stuff.
I like to learn about the history of the location and the culture in the area.
Exchange currency and get a hotel room.
not get robbed? (priority)
Explore the city. Then relax afterwards.
