What have you seen abroad that you'd like done in your home country?

So think of a vacation to another country that you've been on at some point in your life. Now think of something cool that what was different there whether it be laws, cultural practices, food.

What would you apply from those countries to your own country if you could?

More laxed alcohol laws. Over 25 countries, and this is still the only one where I get harassed for ID. Even in Canada they didn't ask me.

American people, especially in customer service are always such stickers when it comes to the rules. In other countries, they're a lot more lenient.

Speaking of which, haggling would be another nice thing to have in the States

I really like American national parks. Brazil has stuff like that because there's a lot of nature here, but not the culture of exploring it like they do.

Also, a good network of passenger trains, like the one in Europe. Would make transportation easier and cheaper, not so reliant on roads and airplanes.
