What’s the luckiest thing that’s ever happened to you?

When I was 14 I was supposed to go to the cinema with my friends. My mother wouldn't let me as my grandmother was coming over for dinner. My two friends were followed by a gang of men as they passed by the local mosque, they were chased and cornered into an alleyway in broad day light and taken into an abandoned building where they were forelced into performing sex acts and passed around by the men, they were threatened to stay silent. The men are all related to each other, we call them the Khan gang. Its taken years but they are finally been brought up for this and other attacks on girls.
I was so lucky that day or I would have been a victim too.

That’s still a win so it definitely counts! 😂 The most I ever won on a lottery was 5 dollars 😂

Oh my gosh I need that kind of luck! 😳😂 Every test that I take I study SUPER hard for (mostly because of my mom, she wants straight A’s allll the time 😩😂) Do you remember what the subject was?

I actually don’t have a story of fortunate luck 😂 (at least not yet, I’m sure I’ll have a miracle happen eventually 🤪😂)

Uhmm, I don’t know how to explain it since the educational system in Europe is pretty different from yours. It’s basically a law subject that consists of a lot of history and legal theory of states and law in general.

Oh wow! That’s even more amazing that you ended up pulling it off especially with it being a law subject 😳 I wouldn’t be able to remember all the terminology and stuff without opening the textbook 😂

I found a bag of Doritos on the sidewalk a jolly rancher still in the wrapper by a dumpster a piece of juicy fruit in an oil spot (that still had its flavor even tho whoever was chewing it must really like shrimp) you’d be amazed how much food people just leave outside that’s not the lucky part though I ate parking lot nachos and all that other stuff and didn’t get sick I eat one leg off a rotisserie chicken from Costco boom! I had a lucky purchase of cryptocurrency.

I had a lucky moment sailing where the boom broke free in a squall and swung around and almost killed me, but instead came inches away from crushing my skull/smashing me.

I have had a really lucky life in general, with many blessings.

Luckiest for me is being a part of my family because we all love and support each other. Blessed to have so many family members who are responsible and kind.

We are lucky as so many people don’t have our security and come from families that are broken or dysfunctional. Glad you feel safe and loved as that’s important

Mostly close encounters with death where I miraculously survived although sometimes with some very bad injuries. I've never been so lucky in terms of being rewarded but have been lucky many times at escaping the worst punishments.

I could get a bit cheesy and say I'm so lucky to have met my wife. But I might be a little bit egotistical since that took hard work! I had to socialize, meet so many new people, and charm my wife. So I don't think luck was a huge component there. :-D

Don't want to give lady luck credit for that one even though I'm so fortunate, but I don't want to call it luck. But lady luck did save me from lots of near-death situations where most people should have died or been hurt far worse.
